arrival by car and parking
Our Pension is located in the heart of Vienna. Directly at the pedestrian zone of Kärntnerstrasse and the corner of Marco d'avianogasse.
You can drive up to the Neuer Markt, unload briefly in the loading zone and then have to drive away again. Unfortunately, stopping and parking is not permitted. Please contact our reception, as access to Marco d'avianogasse is not possible.
We recommend parking the car in the underground car park. There are 2 garages available:
Parking:
1) Parking spaces are available to our guests in the Kärntnerstrasse underground car park (next to the State Opera) at reduced rates. Aviano is approx. 1-3 minutes walk from the garage. (Entrance height 2.10m).
You can use the underground car park as soon as you arrive. You will receive a hotel parking card at the reception. 1 day - 24 hours à Euro 26,- .

2) Neuer Markt underground car park: Parking spaces are available to our guests at reduced rates in the Neuer Markt underground car park. Aviano is directly in front of the car park. (entrance height 2,10m)
You can use the underground car park as soon as you arrive. You will receive a hotel parking card at the reception. 1 day - 24 hrs. à Euro 34,-
Address of the garage: Neuer Markt, entrance on Tegetthoffstrasse, 1010 Vienna
Short-term parking area: Reserve a day-long-service card with a value of Euro 4.10, which allows you to park one day in the short-term parking area. These must be booked in advance (limited number available).
Please note that this is a special permit, but not a guarantee for a parking space!

Charges in the city center: The entire city center of Vienna is a fee-paying short-term parking area. In the first district (Aviano), parking is limited to 2 hours between 9am and 10pm.
From Hauptbahnhof:
You can take the U1 (red line) towards Leopoldau to Karlsplatz. Take the exit "Kärntner Strasse " and walk straight ahaid towards the Hotel Sacher. Marco d'avianogasse is the fourth street on the left side. Our entrance is on the left hand side behind the Bar Roberto and opposite of Swarovski.
From Westbahnhof:
Take the U3 direction Simmering to Stephansplatz. Take the exit "Kärntner Strasse". From there, walk along the Kärntner Straße towards Karlsplatz and find us in the fourth side street on the right. Our entrance is on the left hand side and opposite Swarovski.
From the airport:
With the CAT City Airport (from 29.3.22 again) Train (private) or the S7 (public) to Landstraße-Wien Mitte station, then with the U3 in the direction of Ottakring to Stephansplatz (2 stops).
Railjet: Take the train for EUR 4.40/person from the airport to Vienna Central Station (approx. 15 minutes). From there take a taxi to Aviano or the underground U1 (direction Leopoldau) to Karlsplatz. Leave the underground station in the direction of the Opera. Marco-d'Aviano-Gasse is the 4th side street on the left. .
